Hi all.
I've been a Firefox user for years and have never felt the need to change.
I've had it set up how I like and it's worked fine for me until the last few months when I've had several crashes and lost session data.
Now I usually have 40 odd tabs open on one window especially on long fast moving threads and I close the browser down and reopen it daily (Session restore)
I backup my layout and session and over time I guess the profile has just got cluttered and that has caused the crashes (I'm not blaming Firefox)
Tomorrow I am building a new PC and thought about trying a new browser but there are so many these days, the main ones, Chrome, Firefox, I.E and now Edge, Opera and Vivaldi and a whole host of smaller ones.
One of the main reasons I was thinking about changing is the lack of 1080p streaming in Firefox and Chrome. I have a smart 4K TV so Amazon Prime and Netflix I have via the Smart features but anything else would be an issue.
Should I stay with Firefox, switch to Chrome, try Vivaldi?
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
Kate.
