Windows 10 - Command prompt wont open

Strange issue, cmd.exe/command prompt wont stay open. It opens in a tiny window then instantly closes.

I added a new user account, logged in, worked fine. Switch back to mine and it wont work.

Cant find much googling, tried a few powershell commands to repair windows but it finds nothing wrong.

Anyone experienced this?

Type "cmd" from a powershell window and see if that stays open?

Nope, also makes the powershell windows tiny after typing commands!

Look for an autoexec file.

Maybe you have some sort of annoying Trojan on the system, trickybot does frustrating **** like this.

No malware I can find.

Gave up and did a windows reset, now reinstalling all my stuff.

You said using another account worked. You should have copied all your files from your old account, deleted it and carried on??
