I take it that game mode is with the latest update, does it make any difference or hasn't it been made available yet

It's made absolutely no difference FPS wise to any games I've tested with it. The only difference I've noticed is screen corruption while loading WoW in windows mode. Perhaps when it comes out of beta things will improve.

I tried it in Fallout 4 - no real difference. Also in Battlefield 4 MP, introduced big FPS spikes. Now I was streaming in BF4, so I turned stream off, but even in the Test Range and not streaming, I got some lag spikes.

I think Game Mode will be terrible for streamers anyway. Taking resources away from OBS or whichever program you are using for streaming. Any game that uses 2 processes could also suffer I think. E.g. Skyrim with ENB, if resources/CPU time being taken away from the ENB process.

As above, if you maybe have a low end CPU and don't bother running anything else apart from the game, then maybe you'll see some benefits.

Perhaps when it comes out of beta things will improve.
It's out of beta and is avaliable via the upgrade assistant tool at the moment, should be very soon for the normal upgrade method.

The new Game Mode disables the new Game Mode which frees up a lot of resources, making games run better :p

On a serious note, I hope this is effective since I'm still using a 2500K and have no desire to upgrade any time soon.
