Windows 10 key?

My system is almost dead

so going to have to get a new mobo bundle. Thing I am concerned about is windows key. IIRC it's bound to your hardware right?

What is the best way to rebuild Window 10 and is it even possible if you change your hardware?

What was your original license, OEM or Retail?

Oem windows 7 key upgraded to Windows 10.

The licence for OEM is tied to the motherboard it was first installed / activated on, The Windows 10 licence goes by the original licence for that machine, you will need to purchase a new licence if you change your motherboard.

I still have time right? If i get my new system up and running before 28th of July. I can basically still use the free upgrade if i buy new windows 7.

Also if you buy OEM for Windows 10 is that bound to the hardware as well or would that be transferable?

Yep, up to the 29th July.

OEM can't be transferred, you still need retail like the one below:
