Windows 10 or Windows 7 for PC Gaming ?

I've never done a fresh install for that very reason. I always install over the top. Never had a problem doing it this way. Its okay some people say its best to do a fresh install but when you have got it setup just the way you like it its a PITA to setup again.

I had Win 8.1 so going to 10 has not been that much of a boon.

If you play Supreme Commander on dual screen, you will run into issues.

Otherwise it works fine for most games...

Upgraded a couple of weeks ago and I like it, hard to describe how really, just feels nice.

In all honesty though, there isn't really any good reason to upgrade until a DX12 game comes along that you want to play. But even if you don't do it now, still worth doing before the 1 year free upgrade expires.

Im still on Win 7, don't see the point in going 10 yet, as got no Dx12 games to play on it

Loving Win 10 but it did give a slight problem recording gameplay. I use Afterbuner and really like Windows movie maker as it's easy for my simple brain. Only prob is Win 10 doesn't support M-Maker or Win media player.
Just a niggle and I get round it easy enough.

8.1 with classic shell, i don't see any point to going w10 yet, got it on my laptop and whats good isn't as well executed as it could be, and whats bad is its slower to my observation than w8.1, so im not ready to change the main rig yet

+1 - my system is even better than it was before. Way less problems than the win7. Was originally going to clean reinstall but ended up just leaving the upgrade.

Ark and BF4 dont crash at all now.

Ark getting dx12 soon, personally I love Windows 10. If I have to use Windows it'll be this one now

Windows 10 is great for me. I hated Win 8 on the couple of timesI tried it. But the move from Win 7 to 10 has been painless. Once I got used to some minor different ways of doing things it seems quicker and really decent.

Using windows 10, prefare windows 7 if im honest and if it wasn't for dx12 coming I never would have changed. Most games have worked well on 10 but not all, about 90 percent

I think that's all i really play. oh yeah Elite Dangerous, bought a couple of months ago, not played it yet though, BUT i will the one day i get a few hrs to learn
