Windows 10 Partition Management software, to move space from to another?

I want to move 100GB+ from my E partition to my D partition... Is there a free program to do this, obviously without losing data on the disc/partitions etc.

I used to do it 5-10yrs ago, so I know it's was possible.

Thanks... I'll take a look... But that doesn't sound sofisticated enough?

ie: I want to drag the end of D and start of E across more into E. This would require all the data in that section of E being moved to further into E, then D claiming that section of E.

From looking at that article I don't get any impression of Windows 10 doing that!?

What is the data?

Is it storage or programs?

What size drive is it?

Is it only one physical drive?

Mixtures of programs and data on D and E...

Yes, D and E are partitions on the same drive.

Mini partition wizard.

Take a full system image backup first (veeam Endpoint or Macrium Reflect)

I do monthly images.. Across three mediums... With one offsite

Now... Onto resizing that partition. There must be an app to simply do it as I was doing it 10+ years ago with the apps back then moving all the data to make space one partitiion to eat into the space of another all seeminglessly...

I'd never trust any resizing/moving app without backups.... and since you have backups, deleting and recreating the partitions will be far faster and safer. I really don't see the point in what you're trying to do.

Because it'll probably be easier/quicker?

I was doing it 10yrs ago, and it was easy/quick then
