Windows 10 shutdown problem

ok so this is odd, Windows 10 keeps thinking that someone is still logged on the PC when there isn't. So i click shutdown.;. move away from the PC then realise it's been sitting hours on a message wait.

Which is a right pain as it's every time. Quick google seems fruitless.

Anyone had this or any ideas?

edit - only started happening when I updated to Creators Edition

Do you have any networked devices connected to it? You might need a refresh tbh.

Not as far as I know.. A refresh as in a Windows re-install?

Is there a way of telling who's connected?

CTRL ALT DEL task manager and then users.

Edit: yeah, refresh is a reinstall but maintains your user profile and data. Not programs.

Got exactly the same problem - again only since the Creators update.

No joy fixing it either and it even happens if the machine is freshly turned on and nobody else has logged onto it.

You have to change it for all accounts on your machine though.
