Windows 10 / SSD/ Gigabyte Mobo - Boot issue

Hi guys,

I'm not sure when this issue started specifically occurring but it was sometime after a fresh reinstall of Windows 10 and after I defaulted the BIOS settings back to standard, so it might be an easy fix. The problem is after turning my PC on it doesn't post, I then turn it off and on again and it boots into Windows fine. This happens every time I turn it on. SSD health check comes back as fine, the BIOS, despite going back to default settings I don't think I ever altered anything anyway so not sure on where the problem lies.

Any ideas?

make sure the sata ports are set to ACHi as default for most boards are IDE, may help with the issue

Update the BIOS.

Check the boot order is correct.

Change SATA cable.

Upon investigating more none of the fans start when first booting so I presume it's a mobo issue rather than HDD?

I will update the BIOS

I noticed the mobo LED was cycling between codes 15, 36, 03, 19

List the motherboard model and the rest of your hardware spec.

tested with and without fastboot enabled in the bios? could be a bug with that
