Windows 10 to Mac OSX Sharing

Ive been trying for hours now to copy files from a Macbook Pro running Yosemite to a Windows 10 Pc via the network but i cannot connect.

The aim is to drag the music and photo libraries from the mac to the PC

Ive followed this guide and several others with no success

No matter what i try i cannot connect to the mac from windows I get the message 'Windows cannot access \\Jessicas-Macbook-Pro.local\'

I can seee the windows pc in the shared devices on the macbook but when i try to connect it asks me for user credentials for the pc.

So type in the user credentials..

Ive done that and managed to connect to the windows PC, but i cant connect to the Mac from the PC if you know what i mean

To do what you state in the opening post, why do you need to connect to the Mac from the PC?

Copy the files from the PC using the Mac and the job is done.

[Problem solved. Thanks all seems I was using an old password, which I didn't realise as I use a pin code to login to PC. Now I just need help with the Mac photo library.
