Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you have had it where when you open certain programmes, or a prime example, the windows 10 start menu, that the animation of it opening causes low FPS or micro stutter for a small period and the mouse cursor is not as smooth for 3-5 seconds until it works itself out again.
Repeatedly opening the start menu eventually makes it start rendering the animation smoothly, but then it occurs again occasionally.
It's not my setup as I had this issue on both my Intel rig and now my Ryzen rig too.
Is it poor optimisation on Microsoft's part? Is there a setting I should unset or what? Maybe it's particularly noticeable because I have a 144mhz G-sync monitor?
Googling yields nothing useful as it usually just waffles about game performance whereas i have no issues there and this issue doesn't present itself at all. Just these strange niggles for the start menu and opening certain software such as NordVPN.
Any ideas please? It's driving me nuts as I can't help but focus on it now!
