Windows 11 fresh install failing on a brand-new system - new SSD, new ASUS B860 MB, memory, CPU, etc. The only old bit is a 4TB SSD used to store files and sundry items. The problem is that Windows 11 throws up this error message when installing - "Windows installation encountered an unexpected error. Error code )x80004244-0x4002F". Any ideas how to solve this? The thing is, whilst the drives are listed in 'Storage info', they are absent from the boot priority menu. TIA.

Okay, just installed an old 1TB SSD with Windows already installed and it was detected right away???!!!???

Is the 4tb a dynamic disk?
If so unplug it while trying to install windows
I have 1 dynamic disk
And it does give me some issues

Other options
Make your usb with a different tool
Windows media creator is usually my last choice
Rufus,ventoy,yumi multiboot are the tools
I usually use

Check if there's a bios update available
For your motherboard

Last option put legacy mode in bios
Instead of uefi
