Just moved my PC from W10 to W11 (clean install)
34" ultra wide 3440 x 1440

everything is smaller.
I booted back in to the W10 install to check and display scaling was set to 100% but everything looks ok (bigger)
If I set display scaling to 125% in windows it doesn't work properly and quite a few programs and dialogue boxes are blurred and i can't work out what is more annoying at this moment in time, blurry progams or tiny text/icons

some things can be changed manually, but others can't (bookmarks bar, title bar, taskbar icons, windows context menus, general text in windows)
is there a solution I am missing ?
I have windows 11 on my PC at home and didn't notice this issue, although possibly I have enabled display scaling on that (i'm not at home right now to check it), its using an Odyssey G9 49" super ultra wide @ 5120 x 1440

I also want to use a program called windock and it is completely broken with display scaling turned on

I have ultra wide 3440 x 1440p
Scaling is at 100%
Everything is fine for me

There's windows scaling
But there's also gpu scaling at least on nvidia
Amd probably has similar
Though haven't used gpu scaling in a long time
As windows scaling has worked fine for me on 11
Including preview insider versions

Might be worth trying gpu scaling
To see if there's any difference

As far as I know scaling didn't change between 10 and 11, so I would check are you definitely running both at the same resolution or had you manually changed the font sizes (Settings -> Accessibility -> Text size).

Technically there should not be any scaling difference so that's a bit odd. I went from W10 to W11 whilst having a 34" ultrawide 3440x1440 back in the day and there was no difference back then - Unless you had some driver or software doing something odd.

last week had been migrating relations to Win11 , even though scaling was increased to 150%, the window borders are nonetheless too narrow for them to pick easily, for resize.

I had modified borderwidth & padded registry keys from defaults of -20/-60 to -80/0, but this had negligible effect and I need to make some further experiments,
and make some further research on the web to find better explanation on the keys, or alternatively something like aerowin may work.
(hadn't got around to creating a thread on this yet)
