Windows 11 Search

[slipd]

Hi guys,

I've just completed a fresh instal of 11 and I'm missing the little graphic in my Task Bar search, pictured - I assume its a toggle somewhere?

^^ That's what used to have, now my search is empty...

Any ideas?

right click taskbar, taskbar settings, search -> search box

Hmm... that's what I've got:

And this is what I see?

Completely fresh install.

tried privacy & security -> search -> "show search highlights" toggle on?

The option appears have to have disappeared with recent update

Just read this.

I can recommend the Everything add on . It’s faster and more thorough than the default search.

Yeah I use void tools everything too
Even with 9 drives (all solid state) search with everything
Is basically instantaneous
Puts windows search to shame
