Not only are these updates fail to install, but some people have also reported their PCs are slower to boot and act more slowly than before – for example, apps take longer to load up apps.

In that case I wouldn't worry too much. Those speeds are still very fast so even if you're affected you most likely won't notice the difference. There's not much you can do apart from rolling back but Microsoft will eventually patch the bug.
