Oh my god, now I remember that annoying ad. 
I remember it was almost on all the time. Even David Cameron used it.

For whatever reason after installing this update my idle CPU temps are up about 5'c.

Idle temp good for me, my ICUE software stopped working but a couple of extra win updates and reboots cured that problem.
Latest Nvidia drivers installed, all good performance wise.

That’s what I do. I manually extract and clean the driver before installling it. Takes all of a few minutes to do. Also I hardly update the drivers much anymore unless security issue, a must play game comes out and want game ready drivers or a must have feature is released.
Go back a decade or so ago and I used to install every new driver. Back then you used to get performance improvements in most drivers, AMD ones anyway.

Turns out my 5'c+ temp increase was down to my under volting tool for Ryzen in windows not kicking in, Reactivated and back down to 38'c on the desktop on a 5800X3D
