Anyone have any ideas?

Recently updated a few Windows 2000 PCs to SP4, I must have missed them when it first came out and they needed SP4 to run some software. Now i've noticed that they aren't getting the home page setting from the server, it's defaulting to the dell page (they're dells) and the active directory group policy that's setup for the users isn't applying the home page setting. All other group policy settings are being applied except that one and I can't see why as it works on any PCs that had SP4 prior to us moving to 2003 server earlier this year!

Are you using Folder Redirection in your Group Policy. There is an issue with IE Maintenance settings in Group Policy when used in conjunction with Folder Redirection. A hot fix is available from M$ if that is the case.

No I've not used any folder redirection as yet, although I will be in a few months so that's handy to know!

I just find it very odd that the browser home page setting is applied fine from the GPO on computers which were already setup on the domain with SP4
