Windows 2003 Server Spec Details

I'm reading this and seeing Windows 2003 Server will only support 4GB of RAM?

Can't be right can it?

It explicitly states Standard Edition only supports 4GB.

It's correct, they want you to fork out for the more expensive versions for more memory. 64bit Server Standard can address more memory though iirc.

Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition, supports up to 32 GB of RAM on 1- to 4-way servers.

It's definitely the way to go these days.
