I put Vista 64 bit on my main PC (I got a free copy from uni) and dual booted it with 32 bit xp. Vista went as soon as the Win7 RC came out however...
Basicly I didn't have any issues with it. Any issues I had were with Vista rather than 64 bit and then I had xp to go back to. I think Microsoft should have gone 64 bit version only from Windows Vista upwards...
