Very odd, it could be a partly dead module, how much memory does memtest86+ detect and test?

What does BIOS say under system information?

memtest is running now but that has picked up 3 slots of memory in triple channel set-up!

Stop the test, shut down and pull all the modules out and test them one at a time. If the system fails to boot with one of them, then it is a good bet it is faulty.

Try removing them one at a time, if one of them makes no difference to the total shown in the BIOS then that is likely the dead one.
