Windows 7 and new HDD

A helping hand please for those in the know. installed a 2tb hdd and it shows in bios and device manager but not in my computer. Did a google and was advised to click uninstall from device manager then scan for harware change...does that fine and even pop up new sammy hdd ready but no where to be seen. Idea's to help a pleb pls?

boot :SSD
1st sammy 320gb
2nd sammy 1TB
3rd sammy 2TB (wont show)

does it show when
Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Disk Management.
then assign a letter to it Z: or a letter of yor choice
