Windows 7 and PS3 problems

Upgraded to Windows 7 (although now I wonder why lol) and after days of problems I think I'm down to my last one.

I can't get Windows to let my PS3 go online. I have it connected by cable to my PC which is connected by cable to my router. This is what I see in the Network section, obviously the top one is the connection between my PC and the router, the bottom one is the PS3 to my PC connection.

How do I get it to allow the second network online? I've set the sharing on the first to allow other users to connect to the internet through it but that had no effect.

Connect your ps3 directly to your router, if you can. It should pick up the internet connection without the PC being involved.

If you can not, then you should download Cisco Network Magic - 7 day free trial from their website. Install it and follow the instructions to set up your home network, then once its all good, uninstall it.

Let me know if it works... I messed about with this for ages after putting W7 on and found the Cisco product this week which fixed everything, no messing about with windows settings whatsoever.

I can't go direct to router.

I installed the software but all it did was load up my network, didnt offer me the option to set up one and can't find it anywhere, probably right in front of me, any help?
