Windows 7 Beta will not let me use CCC and run two monitors?

Hi all,

I have just found out I cannot run two monitors on Windows 7.

I want to run my old TV via S-Video as a clone screen, and for movies on full screen. CCC allowed me to do this on XP, but Windows 7 does not seem to let me have such options, all the changes made in CCC revert back and do not stick.

Windows own monitor options are pathetic and allow me no use or control.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Steve

so far running dual screens the same thing for me, CCC options do not stick, enabling extended or clone in the windows own options for it worked for me though. multi screen plus gaming on a X2 is about as stable as poo though so stopped using it. No idea why it wouldn't work through the CCC though, once enabled in windows, CCC was able to change options for it, where the screens are and refresh rate and what not. Something not gaining full control over default windows controls i assume.

Still not managed to sort this, which is a pain, I was also under the impression it would be suitable, after all W7 has a Media Centre, seems stupid to be unable to output movies to a second screen?

Had no such problems under XP Pro?

Windows XP's not in beta :P

People seem to forget that beta's are there to help flag problems like this - I'v not used Windows 7 yet but I assume there's some way of reporting issues to Microsoft, if there is tell them - only way it'll get better.
