hi,

i have a legit windows 7 64 bit iso image file that ive burned to dvd but it wont boot up.

ive tryed various iso burning tools such as poweriso and nero and have tryed various burning speeds but no dice, windows xp always boots up after failing to read the dvd at startup.

any else managed to successfuly create a windows 7 boot disk?

Try imgburn and burn at slowest speed, also make sure 1st boot device is your dvd drive.

This worked for me.

could also try a different brand of disc.
