I have upgraded to winodws 7 32bit from vista 64 Ult,
In vista my computer was maxed out at a 5.9 score but widnows 7 i only have a 5.5 -_- (lowest being RAM) is that normal for it to drop? I have 4Gb OCZ ddr3 ram running in duel channel. next being hard drive which is 7200RPM 32MB cach which is 1TB. at 5.9. while rest are in the 7.1 (processor is 7.4) How comes the ram so low? :/ it aint THAt bad lol

Oh dear.

I wouldn't worry about it much, the windows experience rating is useless.

Run a proper benchmarking program like 3DMark, this will give you a truer indication of your performance.

However, 5.9 is the highest a hard drive can score unless it is solid state or in raid.

i had a low memory score, and turned out it was bios settings in my pc, i needed to disbale all the onboard graphics and win7 was holding some of my memory even though i had a graphics card. i had 5.9 and then it went back to 7.3 which for my memory is a more suitiable score. also the dios default had the memory set to the wrong speed

I have an SSD and I still get 5.9. Don't take any notice of it.

I disagree and would say something is configered wrong, i get 7.7 on my SSD and again the first install i had 5.9 - but as above i had not configed my bios correctly prior to install.

ditto. it's a load of tosh so don't worry about it

I know its no classic benchmark software, but the scores mean something and my experice of them is they work well if your system is setup right and a lower than expected score is often down to setup bios/windows/software/drivers
