Windows 7 cost gone up.....

I preordered Windows 7 Premium/ Retail at £74.99 on a competitor like 2 months ago. And i just had a look and its gone up to £150. I had to double check to see if i havent bought the upgrade edition, but i havent. Im pretty pleased but just curious why the big price increase.

That particular seller must have run out of the wave 2 ones. It's still on for under £75 in a lot of places.

So whats that mean, there aint nothing wrong with the one i preordered then?

It was being sold in three pricing waves to attract customers. Each 'wave' had a limited supply. The products were the same. Wave 1 was ~£45, wave 2 was ~£75, and wave three is full price. You have exactly the same product as everyone else, but you got one in the second pricing wave.
