These image files in the above link will not work with OEM keys will they, i also thought MSDN images were for microsoft partner program customers only, and not the same as retail discs ? or am i wrong.

The official MSDN and TechNet images will work with OEM keys but not retail keys.

Ive just updated the Windows 10 FAQ with a mega folder that has lots of windows 7 Images. They are EN DVD versions and the hashes match with well known good versions if you google the hash of them, Most of them are Digital River ones. Hope this will help people

Is COA keys on bottom of laptops and on side of desktops same as OEM, so would work also with there images, cheers

They'll work with OEM AND retail. Yes, I've tried both.

Yes, those are OEM.

Yeah you can create bootable Windows 7 USB from iso.

or download the iso and then use rufus to create a bootable USB stick

use the tool here, can download any version of W10 you want

can even get a iso or it can do a usb stick for you
