Windows 7 Encryption Software?

I need to encrypt some folders in windows 7. I was wondering which program is the best (paid or free) in terms of low resource usage and strength of encryption. Bear in mind I only want to encrypt certain folders with a password not the whole drive.

Truecrypt should do what you need.

Personally I use bitlocker (included in Windows7 ulitmate)s

Truecrypt sounds like what you want, Bitlocker will do the full disk and not individual folders.

I dont really like truecrypt. I tried something called safehouse, which worked well until I tried to store ISO files in the encrypted container, it kept telling me the container was full when there was over 45GB of free space remaining.

I have windows 7 x64 Professional, so no bitlocker for me

what's not to like about truecrypt?

You can either have it automount on startup or not passworded or not and can even hide the container files and even the whole hard drive. Kinda hard not to like
