With i7 at 3.2 GHz / ATI 4850 graphics board / 6 GB ram / and an SSD hard drive (Crucial 128GB) I get all scores around 7.2 on Win 7 - seems well balanced to me?

I have a high spec RAID5 (mechanical) on mine that pumps out 100s of MB/s and still get 5.9 on the HDD score :( my old samsung F1 RAID0 on my other PC that struggles to hit more than 180MB/s gets like 7.2 or something.

EDIT: Just ran a benchmark of that array under win7 and something is seriously messing with the transfer rate - keeps stalling to 5-6MB/s for periods of time before picking up speed again :(
