Hi, before I start, I realise it is a beta and all that entails. Ok, moving swiftly onwards.

Is anyone else experiencing unexplained freezes in Win7? It has happened several times to me now. I can boot into Safe mode fine, but on normal startup it seems something is preventing Win7 from booting up. It doesn't blue screen, it just sits there, doing nothing.

Last time it did blue screen, although doing a system restore got it going again.

I didn't have enough time this morning to investigate. I get the impression it is a driver, possibly the graphics driver. I was disable it, and see if it boots into normal mode.

Ahh, the joys of Beta testing.

My work computer did this. The way I fixed it was to boot in 640x480 mode (hopefully your screen supports it) and then install new graphics drivers. Then set the resolution to native screen res and it may fix it. As I said it did for me. Win7 was just hanging with the text on the bottom right of the screen.

Build 7100 kept locking up at random times on my sisters old Athlon 64 system. Never did find out the cause though.
