Windows 7 install problem

Hi,
I am tryed install Win 7 32 and 64 and allways stop cos i am getting this message:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might to be a couse.
File: windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
Status: 0xc0000001

My spec:
Q6600
4GB corsair dominator 8500
Biostar Tpower I45
POV 280 GTX
Corsair 750W
Seagate 200GB
Samsung F1 1TB

Can anybody help? thx
 
It's beta software and obviously there's something in your setup it doesn't like - file a bug report with Microsoft and wait until the next beta is released.
 
Try a clean install not upgrade

What he said - on the Windows 7 guides that are all over the internet state to that to never install Windows 7 by upgrading from Vista as 7 is still a Beta & there are still bugs in Windows 7 that might cause problems when upgrading. Always do a clean full install.

Sounds a strange problem that.

I did read on one forum that a guy had the exact same problem. He got around his by burning the iso again but at a lower speed.

But then again another guy said he can't install it but seems to think it's due to his terabyte drive.
 
maybe your system is unstable (dodgy memory etc etc)... quite often brings a windows install to it's knees with strange errors.

never install windows while overclocked... just asking for trouble.
