Windows 7 Internet Browser.

FF 3.5.x with Adblock Plus and a few other addons. It's still the best browser out there IMO. Safari isn't great despite what the Apple zealots will tell you, Opera isn't much better, IE8 is okay but not as tweakable as FF, and Chrome needs an adblocker before I'll consider switching.

Tummy, make sure you have the correct Adblocker..

I went straight to Firefox, installed and imported my previous settings and addons I'd backed up with Mozbackup.

I do use IE8 on occassion, but it's incredibly rare.

I've stuck with Chrome for general browsing at home and at work, it's always the latest dev build which has added some nice features. I'll switch out to FF just to use some of the useful addons for html dev work but that's about it, it just seems very slow, clunky and poorly designed now after using Chrome. The only time IE get's loaded is to use an awful CMS system that has some serious compatibility issues with anything else (can't wait for it to get replaced).

Just on a pure performance side Chrome usually wins, but then with the speed of current PC's and internet connections it's not really a big thing anymore.

Just got my copy of Win7 and installed it and i thought id give the 64bit Firefox another go.... and WOW, its fast and its using the Win7 Aero tab preview thing that IE8 uses :D

Get it here if you're interested ;)

Why on earth would you need a bookmark menu if there's a bookmark bar?
Work wise i like the folder setup in Firefox. Bars are for sites you frequently use like email and forums etc, but i have a huge amount of bookmarks in firefox from the past and present that i need quick, easy access to.

Opera 10 90% of the time. I used to use Firefox for FB and youtube until it stopped loading webpages, it ate up my memory too!

Started to use Chrome, but quickly stopped as it just doesn't have the functions needed.

I did use that adblocker :)

I like the feel of Safari so I've gone back to that, which is cool but the ads do annoy me and it feels slower then FireFox.

Is there anyway to change to look / feel of FireFox to Safari but keep the speed / add blocker?

Despite what I said earlier in the thread. I just did a re-install of Windows 7 after receiving my copy in the post today and thought I would give IE8 a crack and to my surprise it is very very quick. Certainly as fast as Chrome & FF IMO... Guess its just compatibility issues but not come accross many yet...
