Just Upgraded from vista to windows 7 ultimate, fully installed booted up everything seemed fine, was browsing pages on the net to get drivers for my GFX card ect, then the internet just stopped working, nothing would load or ping not even to my router, so i restarted my pc and the internet was working fine so i carried on browsing then bam again it stopped, i restarted about 5-6 times and each time the internet worked for around 2 minutes then just stopped.

any ideas?

EDIT:
After pinging to my netgear router for the 5th time, i was just getting request timed out untill this time it said

Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Request Timed Out.
Request Timed Out.
Reply From 192.168.1.11 Destination Host Unreachable.
Reply From 192.168.1.11 Destination Host Unreachable.

Ping Statistics for 192.168.1.1
Packets Sent = 4, Received = 2, Lost = 2 (50% Loss),

strange that where the 2 replies are from, its a different IP to what i pinged too?

You could try checking if your router supports IPV6, if not, disable/uncheck it in the properties of your network/ethernet card. Just use IPV4. The reason being that Windows 7 uses IPV6 by default and some routers don't support it.
