Windows 7 multi install

I have just got a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - OEM from OcUK. if i install it on a PC and a laptop will i need two COA's or with me been one user is that ok?

it always say a cope of Windows is for one user, well i am one user but i have more that one device.

You need the retail version as the OEM is tied to the motherboard.

So even when i upgrade to an 1156 board it will not reinstall?

You can only use one COA for one machine. Retail or OEM.

You should only use an OEM version on one machine and not move it between machines. Where as Retail can be moved to another machine, as long as you un-install it from the first machine.

ok thanks for the info. as i plan on building a AMD X6 or intel I5 in the next 2 months i will save this for that machine as the one i am using will be dismantled for the SSD and ram
