ouch. sounds busted. If the bios cannot recognise the drive, swapping ports and cables, then it's RMA time.

yeh, i think so 
...sucks...is it worth trying to take the harddrive itself to a local comp shop and see if they can check it/test to see if its busted, or should i just send it back? are OCuk pretty good like, if for example it turns out to be fine and i was just a dumbass?
