Windows 7 oem upgrade.

Just ordered windows 7 through the upgrade option, will I get both 32bit and 64bit cd sent to me. When I was on the order page I saw that it said I was ordering a 32bit windows 7.

OEM's are normally either 32 or 64bit, not both.

Ok would I receive an activation key for the windows 7 32bit cd and if i do would i be able to use the key on a 64bit bit windows 7 backup cd.

There is no such thing as OEM upgrade. It's either an OEM licence or an upgrade licence.

Look matey I bought this "Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 32-Bit - OEM + Windows 7 Upgrade Voucher" from overclockers.

Please help.

You will have 32 Bit Windows 7 then. Keys are interchangable, so if you want 64 Bit order the Media from MS.

I doint think you can use a 32bit key on a 64bit OS it never used to work anyways, maybe they have changed it for win 7?

Can you confirm this?

It was the case for Vista and assume it will be for Windows 7. XP didn't allow this.

You'd also have to order the 32-bit media from MS - all you'll get is Vista 32-bit media. You have to send off for the Windows 7 updgrade after October 22nd.

You can send off the windows 7 voucher now in the UK, I just ordered for mines.
