Posted this here as I'm not really sure where the problem lies. Hardware spec is as per sig. I got the P5Q last week at the same time as W7 Pro. I'm having an audio stuttering issue in games and iplayer. The screen will pause for a second and the audio will stutter and the sound goes like a DAB radio stuttering when it loses its signal. Thinking it was the onboard sound, I bought an Xonar PCI card but it still does it. It happens at stock speeds as well as overclocked. Speedstep is disabled as is the halt state setting. I've updated all drivers I can find manually and the 5870 has been tried with 9.9 & 9.10 cat drivers. I've raised the voltage on the memory but no joy. Temps at load are 50-60c for the CPU, 28c for the mobo and 45-50c for the GPU (running fan at 40%). I cant see it being an overheating issue? Cant see it being a o/c problem as it does it at stock? Theres no bugs or malware driving the cpu up and running task manager on my second screen doesnt show anything spiking. Any ideas to try, its doing my nut in!

I had annoying pausing is gaming, typing, everything basically which I found to be caused by the Sony Ericsson PC suite and possibly bluetooth. When I uninstalled PC suite, it was fine again.

I think I've tracked it down to Carbonite now. Its not backing up but when the service is running, I get system pauses every few minutes.
