Here's a weird one.
Just installed Windows 7 (x64, Premium Home) to run alongside Vista, and experiencing a couple of hiccups.
The first is that it's detected what it believes to be a 'Infrared Transceiver' device (eHome), which I've never seen before, nor does Vista detect it. I don't think my motherboard (Asus P5Q-E) sports this feature, nor do I have any hardware that relates to it (Logitech DiNovo keyboard, G7 mouse, X-fi soundcard, 4870x2 graphics). Because I've no idea what it is, Windows is unable to find any drivers for it, so it just sits there, unused, in Device Manager. My guess is that the h/w relates to something else and Windows is mistaking it for the above.
On a side note - I can't get the auto updates of Avira Antivir to work, either. Looks like I'm not alone on this issue. Strange, as they work perfectly within Vista
Any thoughts?
