Windows 7 Prices

According to the latest issue of custom pc mag prices are £150 for home premium, £220 for pro and £230 for ultimate all inc vat. so i guess these will be the prices once they go up.
 
I had intended to wait until building my new computer system next year before buying windows 7 and i must say, i'm so glad I decided to get it now.

yeah me too. £65~ is a fantastic price for win7 hp retail, really fantastic offer they did there, which is why it's the first windows i've officially bought on it's own, only ever owned it because it came preinstalled or from a friend of a friend etc, but at £65 thats too good an offer to miss.
 
Remember in the US, instead of getting retail versions like us at discount prices, they had,

Limited Pre-order offer: $49 for Windows 7 HP Upgrade, $99 for Windows 7 Pro Upgrade
When above sold out as well as release: $119 for " " " ", for $199 " " " "

Retail prices are more expensive.

Am thinking should i buy another copy of window 7 HP while it is cheap for if i ever get around to builting a HTPC sometime later
