Hi all, I have windows 7 x64 I have 4GB of ram and a Asus P5wDH, I have turned on memory remap in bios. Now windows and my bios both say 4096 available.
However even using max memory and the bios features its still hogging 1025mb odd for hardware and using it for my graphics card.

My Specs are:
E6600
Asus P5wDH deluxe
4gb Corsair ram
Nvidia GTX260 896mb

Is there anyway to stop windows using system memory for graphics as there is no need for it and not to mention really annoying seeing my computer say
4.00GB (3.00GB Usable) :p

Rams fine in vista and is showing the full amount in bios, however memory remap was not enabled when installing windows 7, will reinstall and see if that sorts it out. will update when done lads cheers.

Update: After changing something in bios to do with cpu speed, after restarting windows the memory issue is fixed I have my 4GB and hardware is no longer resolved. \0/
