windows 7 shows 2 mice and 2 keyboard ?

only just seen this ...

in control panel in the devices section its shows 2 of mice and keyboard

hid keyboard device
hid compliant mouse

+ also my logitech 518 mouse and logitech keyboard ....is that normal ?

also says the logitech keyboard is virtual ??? ive only got 1 keyboard lol .. can i safely disable these ? just wondering if this is affecting my mouse sense problems ( random dropouts ) ?

Deleting them and seeing if they come back shouldn't do any damage, as unplugging them and plugging them back in should force them to be re-detected. But I think these are listed for extra keys/functions, like if you have media controls etc on your k/b.
 
Yeah perfectly normal.

I 'think' its because it has multiple drivers. Eg. the left and right click are controlled by the HID class drivers whereas more advanced features such as battery level measurement are controlled by Logitech drivers.
 
Just out of curiosity I uninstalled keyboard HID and mouse HID. Restarted my computer and both have re-installed. So, can only assume they are windows drivers.

You can see if they're windows drivers by right clicking and going to properties, then under the "Driver" tab look what it says after "Provider".
