Windows 7 Sidebar Gagets problem

I have been using windows 7 for a few days and it is very gud but i'm have a few niggles. Some what i've ironed out now but when i go to install a new gaget it won't let me. When i go to install a gadget file it says Unspecified error. Anyone else had problems doing this.

Is UAC enabled/disabled?

my gadget tool bar stopped working all together - nothing happens when I add a gadget or choose the gadget opiton in the right click menu. Have reported this in feedback and I'm pretty sure a lot of others are getting similar problems.

my uac is on but on the lowest setting.

Disabling or setting UAC to the lowest setting results in breaking the gadget bar, I noticed this last week and logged it as a problem too.

Even if uac is on the highest setting it still won't install any new gadgets.
