Windows 7 / Sort By

How can I force Windows 7 to always show 'Date Modified' in the Sort By list? Its annoying to have to add it from the 'more' list on every folder!

That's odd it's there by default on all my folders, right click > sort by > Date modified.

I think win7 still has that setting there. Not near a win box to check.

I assume you're talking about windows explorer?

If so just right click where the date created/size etc are (but not on it) and then add the fields as you wish - I always add date ceated to my lists as usually date mdified is there most of the time. Hope this is what you meant.

@whitecroo, Just tried that, unfortunately it didn't change the Sort By list.

@NickP, I dont mean there, I have the view set to titles. I mean when you right click a folder (context menu) > Sort By I want the Date Modified to always show up there!
