Windows 7 span multiple monitors

Hi

Just got two 26" widescreen monitors and have an NVidia Quaddro card (x2)

Can I span the desktop across both monitors (rather than having an extended display).

I want my start menu across both monitors. I guess I could use ultramon but I'd rather not

You can either extend or duplicate. You can't stretch the Taskbar across both monitors when extending - you will need Ultramon.

I found DisplayFusion to work beter with Windows 7, but things might have changed now.

Could buy an ATI card & use eyefinity, but that will full screen programs over both screens as well.

Hopefully windows 7 works alright across 2 displays as this is what i'll end up with

Works fine, but like others have said the taskbar doesn't span the monitors natively.

Zbar is a free option. Display fusion has 33% off atm.
