Windows 7 Steam Game latency much higher than Windows XP

Hi all,

My Windows 7 Steam Game latency is much higher than Windows XP any ideas why? I have tried a few Latency tweaks for Windows 7 but none have help improve it.

I switch back to the Windows XP machine (Separate partition) and bang! my ping latency is good again.

Would be helpful if you posted the difference in the latency...

i'd stick with XP until Win 7 is finished.

You must have a duff driver or configuration issue, as I've seen no problems whatsoever with regards to latency.

Yes tried that one..

XP - Latency 35 ish for good amount of servers

Win7 - 60 ish

Tried a couple of fresh installs with different net driver. Using the Win 7 recommended one now.

Guess im at a loss. Hopefully resolved in Release copy.

My board is a Asus M3N78
