Windows 7 & steam problem

Just installed windows 7 (64 bit ultimate) dual booting with vista 32.
Steam is on my data drive and is refusing to start under windows 7, everytime i try to run it a steam_assert MDMP file is created in the steam folder.

Previously anytime ive run steam on a new os, it's always worked though had to do a few updates.

are you right clicking and running as administrator? you have to do this on the first run for it to set itself up.

Doh! yea that did it, dunno why i didn't try that in the first place, thanks
