Was just about to buy the thing following an e-mail I got from microsoft telling me i'm registered but haven't bought it yet and that the store closes on 5th Jan. Still 5th Jan so was going to buy it now. On the site though, when i'm entering my card details, it says under the terms and conditions that -
"Promotion Duration: This offer commences at on September 30th 2009 at 4pm GMT and all purchases must be made via the Promotion web site by 11:59pm GMT on January 3rd, 2010 at which time the offer ends."
It's still letting me continue though so i'm guessing that it's ok? Just wondering if anyone bought it yesterday or anything and experienced any problems?
Also, it gives me an option to "Protect your purchase with Extended Download Service. We will keep a back-up copy of your digital file should you need to re-download it for any reason."
It doesn't say anything about cost and i'm hesistant to click continue after entering my card details so was wondering if anyone knows if this service is free or not? Also, do I need to download the file right away after purchasing? or can my first time be in a week or so?
