Windows 7 upgrade

I have a Windows 7 upgrade and Vista Business retail. Whats the easiest way to just install straight from Windows 7 without having to install Vista first? Im sure ive read somewhere there are different ways to do this.

There is the double install method.

You install Windows 7 once - without entering a Product Key - then once done perform an Upgrade, this time using the Product Key. This is a legitimate way of doing this and is usually what MS tells you to do if you have lost your previous OS installation media.

There is another method but it is not endorsed by MS as far as I am aware.

need to do a quick reinstall as one of my drives are failing

i did a full install and then an upgrade which licensed fine
