windows 7 vs Vista?

thanks that sounds a bit more like it, and a bit less annoying UAC wow that dose sound good, just as long as its not as clunky as Vista I think I could live with it.

It's quite ironic that the *convenience feature* (elevation dialogs) of User Account Control annoys everyone. :D:p

as for UAC in Vista, it can take up to a 25 to 35 seconds on my pc, and I have an i7 920, that how much I hate UAC. lol

I'm guessing you are referring to how long the elevation dialogs on the secure desktop takes to show up when you carry out an operating which is requesting administrator rights and in which case, the problem here isn't User Account Control but more likely down to a graphics driver problem. For the secure desktop to take around 30 seconds to show up is certainly not normal behavior though.
