Windows 7 x64 Ultimate MSDN/RTM problem

Just installed the OS on my new build and got a really funny problem which I didn't have with the release candidate build.

Any 32bit programs I run load into memory, but don't actually start. The only way to get them to work is to run them as administrator, which seems a little excessive for every program I've got.

Anyone esle experienced this or got any ideas on how to solve it?

the xonar cards don't have proper drivers yet.

you can try using the newest beta 7 driver, then go into the vista 32bit section, and download the newest 'patch' for them

that'll give you the best stability.


it's a known xonar problem

Read your reply and for a moment I was wondering if you'd replied to the wrong thread because I wouldn't have made the connection between the Xonar and Windows
