Well at least i know now why they're called " micro$oft ". So i'll have to roll back to vista, and buy the upgrade version of win7? How would i go about getting vista back? Or can i just install the new windows 7 over the ' old ' one?

It's only called Micro$oft by immature children.
They also use M$ which is equally "funny".

£90 max for Win7 Home Premium.
At least 2yrs of use from said OS.
So approx. 12p per day to use the OS - yer, that's breaking the bank.

The activation grace period is not a trial. You still need a licence.
